I think I’ll be bigger than Wizkid – Nigerian singer, Khaid tells US rapper, Lil Durk

Fast rising Nigerian act Khaid is confident about his chances of becoming a household name in the Nigerian industry and upstaging big names like Wizkid.

While speaking to American rapper Lil Durk recently via video call, Khaid did not hold back when Durk asked him if he has any chance of being bigger than his senior colleague in the not-too-distant future.

In a video which has gone viral, Khaid told him that he is hopeful he will get to that point in his career one day.

“Yo, you think you gon be better than Wizkid?” Durk asked.

In response, he said; “I just gat hope. I will, I think I will”

Khaid’s real name is Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon. He is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter signed to Neville Records.

He rose to stardom with the release of the song “With You”, after signing a record deal with Sydney Talker’s Neville Records in 2022, which earned him his first chart entry on Nigeria TurnTable Top 50 single chart at number forty-eight on 14 February 2022.
