In J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” series, by the end of the seventh book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” and as shown in its epilogue, Harry Potter marries Ginny Weasley. Together, they have three children:
James Sirius Potter: Their eldest son, named after Harry’s father (James Potter) and godfather (Sirius Black).
Albus Severus Potter: Their second son, named after two of the most influential headmasters of Hogwarts: Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape.
Lily Luna Potter: Their daughter, named after Harry’s mother (Lily Potter) and a good family friend (Luna Lovegood).
The play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” which was based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, further explores the lives of Harry’s children, especially Albus Severus, as they attend Hogwarts and face their own challenges.
