Hedy Lamarr, the Austrian-American actress and inventor, had three children:
James Lamarr Loder (also known as James Lamarr Markey): He was born out of her marriage with screenwriter and producer Gene Markey.
Denise Loder: Born from her marriage to John Loder, Denise became an actress.
Anthony Loder: Also a child from her marriage to John Loder.
Hedy Lamarr, while well-known for her acting career, is also recognized for her co-invention (with composer George Antheil) of an early version of frequency hopping, which laid the groundwork for many modern wireless communication technologies, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
