Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, commonly known as N. T. Rama Rao or NTR, was a prominent film actor, director, producer, and politician who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, India, for three terms. He was the founder of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). NTR had a total of twelve children:
Nandamuri Ramakrishna Sr. (Passed away in a road accident in 1962)
Nandamuri Harikrishna – He was also a film actor and politician. Notably, his sons, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Jr. NTR), are popular actors in Telugu cinema. Harikrishna passed away in a road accident in 2018.
