How many children did Noah have?

In the biblical narrative, Noah, the central figure of the story of the Great Flood, had three sons:

Shem: Shem was the eldest son of Noah. He is often regarded as the ancestor of Semitic peoples, including the Hebrews and Arabs.

Ham: Ham was the second son of Noah. He is considered the ancestor of various peoples, including those from regions such as Africa and some parts of the Middle East.

Japheth: Japheth was the youngest son of Noah. He is often associated with the ancestors of Indo-European and Caucasian peoples.

According to the Bible, these three sons were with their respective wives on Noah’s Ark during the Great Flood, which is described as a divine punishment for the wickedness of humanity. After the floodwaters receded, these three sons and their wives are said to have repopulated the Earth.
