Ronald Wayne Van Zant was a talented American singer. He is most famous for being the original lead vocalist, primary lyricist, and one of the founding members of the southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
He was Johnny Van Zant’s older brother, who is currently the lead vocalist of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Donnie Van Zant’s brother as well, who founded the rock band and is also a vocalist.
