William Garland, also known as Billy, was born on March 14, 1949 to parents who are African American. Garland’s great-grandparents were Sub-Saharan African-Americans who were part of the first generation of immigrants.
His birth surname was “Garland,” which means “The Crown of a King.” This name was given to him because of his kinship and lineage, which can be traced back to the Garamantes civilization, a Sub-Saharan African kingdom. The Garamantes civilization is the direct ancestor of the Tuareg people, who exist today.

Tupac Shakur
Tupac Amaru Shakur, who was also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper. Many people believe that he is one of the most influential and successful rappers ever. Shakur is considered one of the most successful music artists, with over 75 million records sold worldwide. Shakur’s music often tackles the pressing social issues that affected inner cities, making him a symbol of activism in the fight against inequality.
Shakur was born in New York City to parents who were political activists and members of the Black Panther Party. He was raised by his mother, Afeni Shakur, and then moved to Baltimore in 1984. After that, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988. When his debut album 2Pacalypse Now was released in 1991, he gained prominence in West Coast hip hop as a key figure known for his thought-provoking rap lyrics. After his initial success, Shakur went on to release two more albums, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z… in 1993 and Me Against the World in 1995. These albums were well-received by both critics and fans, and helped solidify his status as a successful artist both commercially and artistically. In 1996, he released his Diamond certified album called All Eyez on Me. It was the first-ever double-length album in the history of hip-hop. This album marked a departure from his introspective lyrics and instead embraced a more intense and aggressive style of gangsta rap. Apart from his music career, Shakur also had a lot of success as an actor. He starred in movies like Juice (1992), Poetic Justice (1993), Above the Rim (1994), Bullet (1996), Gridlock’d (1997), and Gang Related (1997).
