Christopher Strauss de León is a Filipino film actor and politician. He is known as the “King of Philippine Drama” and has been in more than 120 films since the early 1970s.
In the 1980s, De Leon started his career in the entertainment industry by being part of the main cast in a comedy show called Goin’ Bananas, which featured an all-male cast. After his appearances on Star Drama Presents, he decided to transition from comedy to drama.
