Marín was born in Rüsselsheim, West Germany and grew up in Madrid, Spain. He began his music career at a young age, making his first album at the age of eight. The album was produced by Pierre Kartner, a Dutch singer-songwriter and record producer.
The album, titled The Little Caruso, included popular songs such as “O Sole Mio” and “Granada”. When he was eight years old, he had the opportunity to sing “Granada” in front of a crowd of 800 people. When he was ten years old, he made another album called “Mijn Lieve Mama” which means “My Dear Mother” in English. He started studying piano and solfeggio because of his love for music.
Marín resided in the Netherlands, specifically in Eindhoven, during that time. However, he returned to Spain when he turned twelve. When he was 15 and in his 20s, he won several awards in television contests like “Gente Joven” (Young People) and “Nueva Gente” (New People) on TVE (Spanish Television) in Spain.
