In 2007, Gutfeld took over the late-night Fox News Channel chat show Red Eye. The original air times for the show were at 2:00 AM ET on weekday mornings and 11:00 PM on Saturday nights. However, the show’s airing was changed from Saturday evenings to Monday through Saturday nights at 3:00 a.m. commencing in October 2007. Starting in 2011, Gutfeld was a regular panelist and co-host on The Five, a Fox News political talk show that aired weekdays at 5:00 p.m. ET. In 2015, he left his position as host of Red Eye, which was taken over by Tom Shillue. In the same year, The Greg Gutfeld Show debuted on Fox News as a new Saturday night program at 10:00 p.m. ET talk show hosted by Gutfeld. The show was scheduled to begin airing at 11:00 PM ET on weeknights in the second quarter of 2021.
