Paul John Hollywood is a well-known English celebrity chef and television presenter. He gained popularity as a judge on The Great British Bake Off starting in 2010.
Hollywood started his career as a teenager, working at his father’s bakery. He then went on to become the head baker at various hotels in both Britain and other countries. Once Hollywood returned from working in Cyprus, they made appearances as a guest on various British television shows, including those aired on BBC and ITV. He started his career in broadcasting by focusing on food programming, but later expanded into other areas, such as motoring.
Hollywood first met his wife Alexandra when they were both working in Cyprus. He was the head baker at a luxurious hotel, while she had taken up a job as a scuba diving instructor on the island. They got married in Cyprus in 1998, but they had a short separation in 2013. During that time, it came to light that Hollywood had been having an affair with Marcela Valladolid, his co-judge on The American Baking Competition. Paul and Alexandra reconciled, but unfortunately, they ended up separating again in 2017. Their divorce was finalized in July 2019.

Paul has a son named Joshua, who is currently 21 years old. Joshua is Paul’s only child from his first marriage to Alexandra.
Paul chooses not to post pictures of himself and his son on social media, and his mother, Alexandra, only shares occasional glimpses. As a result, there is limited information available about Joshua’s current activities. Alexandra recently shared an update with her Instagram followers about her son, and it happened to be on his 21st birthday.
She posted a cute picture of them on October 1, 2022. The caption said, “I can’t believe it, time has flown by so quickly. But I still remember the first time I saw him, it feels like it was just yesterday.” Being a parent is something special, not something we are entitled to. Our children are not possessions, but rather they are entrusted to us for a period of time. Eventually, we have to accept that we need to let them go (which can be incredibly difficult, right?). Watching Josh grow into the clever, funny, and inspiring young man he is today has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I am filled with immense pride for him.
