Moses Kwaku Agyapong Danemah, also known as Dr. Paa Bobo, a late Ghanaian singer, died on December 28, 2013.Reports from different news outlets say that Dr. Paa Bobo died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a long battle with illness.
However, the ace musician’s daughter, Abena Benewaa, claims that his father’s wife made life of her father short on earth.
The woman said on Auntie Naa’s Oyerepa Afutuo show that when her father was alive, none of his family members could get near to him because of his wicked wife, Ama Nyanta.
According to her, whenever a family member visited Paa Bobo, his wife Ama Nyanta would beat him and evict him from Dr Paa Bobo’s home.
Paa Bobo’s wife, according to Abena Benewaa, hit, kicked, and slapped him on multiple occasions. She was even evicted from the residence when she was with her father.
So she believes that the beatings and various maltreatment her father encountered resulted in his death.
“When my father was alive no one could get close to him because anytime a family came close to him his wife Ama Nyanta will beat him (Paa Bobo). She use to slap and kick my father…… She even sacked me from my father’s house….. I believe Ama Nyanta beat and killed my father (Dr Paa Bobo)…..” She proclaimed.
Abena Benewaa went on to say that once her father died, his wife Ama Nyanta took all of his assets. Despite not having any children with her, Paa Bobo was unable to care for his children as a result of the lady.
She said that Ama Nyanta is no longer alive, and her family has taken over the late musician’s properties. As a result, Oyerepa Afutuo should help retrieve all of her father’s properties in Accra.
According to her, whenever a family member visited Paa Bobo, his wife Ama Nyanta would beat him and evict him from Dr Paa Bobo’s home.
