Bob Crane, the American actor and radio host best known for his role as Colonel Hogan in the TV series “Hogan’s Heroes,” had three children:
Robert David Crane (born 1949): Robert, often referred to as “Bobby,” was Bob Crane’s eldest son.
Deborah Ann Crane (born 1954): Deborah is Bob Crane’s daughter.
Karen Leslie Crane (born 1958): Karen is Bob Crane’s youngest daughter.
Bob Crane was married twice. His first marriage was to Anne Terzian, with whom he had his three children. After his divorce from Anne, he married Patricia Olson, with whom he had one son named Scotty.
Bob Crane’s life came to a tragic end when he was found murdered in his apartment in Scottsdale, Arizona, on June 29, 1978. The murder case remained unsolved for many years until new evidence emerged, leading to the arrest and trial of John Henry Carpenter, who was acquitted in 1994.
Despite the circumstances surrounding Bob Crane’s death, he is remembered for his contributions to entertainment and his iconic role in “Hogan’s Heroes.” His children and family continue to preserve his memory and legacy.
