Jaycee Dugard was abducted in 1991 at the age of 11 and was held captive for 18 years by Phillip and Nancy Garrido. During her captivity, she gave birth to two daughters as a result of rape by Phillip Garrido:
Angel: Born around August 1994 when Jaycee was approximately 14 years old.
Starlit: Born in November 1997.
Out of respect for their privacy and to allow them a chance at a normal life, further details about the children have been kept out of the public eye. Jaycee Dugard has written about her experiences in her memoir, “A Stolen Life,” but has been careful to protect the identities and personal lives of her daughters.
