Alan Steppe
Alan Thicke, a Canadian actor and songwriter, was well-known for his talents. Alan Thicke, who is most famous for his roles in Growing Pains, Unusually Thicke, and The Alan Thicke Show, was born in 1947.
Unfortunately, he passed away in December 2016 after suffering a sudden heart attack while playing hockey with his son Carter. In 2013, he was honored with a spot on Canada’s Walk of Fame.
Two years later, in 2015, he was also recognized on the Brampton Arts Walk of Fame. His achievements continued to be celebrated when he received the Canadian Icon Award in 2016 at the Whistler Film Festival. Besides being in movies, he has also been on several TV shows and has even hosted a few.

Carter Alan’s youngest and beloved son, William Thicke, was playing hockey with him when Alan unfortunately suffered a heart attack and passed away. Carter got his name from the well-known baseball player, Joe Carter. He even made appearances in several episodes of his dad’s show, Unusually Thicke.
