Lee Harvey Oswald was an American man who is infamously known for his involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Oswald, a former Marine, was arrested for the assassination but was himself killed two days later by nightclub owner Jack Ruby before he could stand trial.

Lee Harvey Oswald had two children named June Lee Oswald and Rachel Oswald. June Lee Oswald was born in February 1962, just months before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Rachel Oswald was born in October 1963, a month before the tragic event. After Oswald’s arrest and subsequent death, his children were raised by their mother, Marina Oswald.
