The sad story of the popular radio presenter who stole from church offertory to buy heroin, cocaine

In the early 2000s, he worked as a broadcaster for Peace FM, hosting the radio station’s drive-time program.
But before that, he was addicted to drugs, and his dependence was so severe that he was forced to sell his possessions and commit crimes against the church in order to fund his drug use.Eric Noah King admitted to using narcotics for 25 years during an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM, despite how challenging it was for him to stop. Fortunately, after spending time in a rehabilitation facility, he has been able to survive without it for the past fourteen months.

“I was a personal assistant to a man of God and when the offering came and we were counting the money, I would be picking some of the envelopes,” he is quoted to have said in a report by myjoyonline.com.

Eric Noah King, who revealed that no family member “wants to have anything to do with me,”claimed that his buddy introduced him to drugs following a chance encounter with a club girl.He claims that the aforementioned friend persuaded him that a heroin and marijuana combination could boost his self-confidence and help him engage with women. Since then, his obsession has intensified.

Even though it was challenging to stop, he finally overcame his addiction after meeting with Apostle Cobi Gbingor Washington, the CEO of Chosen Rehab Centre. He took the necessary steps to quit because he was resolved to do so.“I am now indomitable like the sand, impeccable like the moon, and inexplicable like the stars. This is the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes,” he noted while emphasizing that one cannot nail addiction without being prayerful and focused.

“It’s a spiritual thing, so if you take spirituality out of cocaine and heroin addiction, you’ve missed the goal, you’ve missed the mark. Trust me,” the 46-year-old said.
