Alan Steppe
Dawn Staley is a highly accomplished basketball player and coach. She is currently the head coach of the University of South Carolina women’s basketball team and has led the Gamecocks to great success, including multiple Final Four appearances and a national championship in 2017.
Before transitioning to coaching, Staley had a remarkable playing career. She was a three-time Olympic gold medalist representing the United States in women’s basketball, winning in 1996, 2000, and 2004. Staley was also a standout player in college, where she played for the University of Virginia and was a three-time All-American.
