My wife left me when I went broke – Evg. Edward Akwasi Boateng

A gospel singer with a lot of experience, Evangelist Edward Akwasi Boateng, said that money problems led to the end of his marriage.
In an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Entertainment Review, the singer revealed that his wife was constantly threatening divorce before her family finally brought her ‘Etiri nsa’.

He went on to say that many pastors, including Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, tried to save the marriage but were unsuccessful.

He did, however, state that after 5 years of divorce, he is now free to consider remarrying.

The “Adea me pe nyinaa” hitmaker revealed that, despite his struggles in life, he had faith in Christ that things would get better one day. As a reminder, Edward Akwasi Boateng is a Ghanaian gospel musician and composer. He was born on November 28, 1962, in Juaso, Ashanti Region, Ghana.

He began his music career in the 1980s and has released several albums over the years. Some of his popular songs include “Makoma So Adee”, “M’aseda”, “Nyame Ye”, and “Biribiara Nye Den”.
