David Adeleke, better known as Davido, Nigerian Afrobeat singer who has revealed that his connection with Burna Boy, a fellow musician, is extremely precarious.

He claimed they get along well but “don’t actually talk” to one another.

Recently, Davido was a guest on Hot 97FM’s Ebro in the Morning Program in New York, USA.

The Omo Baba Olowo singer declared, “Afrobeats [artists] we are in unity,” when asked about collaboration among Afrobeats musicians. To Burna [Boy], I spoke. He phoned me. Although we haven’t truly communicated like that, he still calls me.Asked whether he plans to resolve his issues with Burna Boy, Davido said, “I think I definitely would. He [Burna Boy] called me. Wiz [Kid] called me. And funny enough, me and Burna used to be mad close. Very very close.Recall that the relationship between Davido and Burna Boy went sour in 2020, which resulted in a series of disagreements between the two.

The duo reportedly clashed and exchanged blows in a Ghanaian club.

Speaking of the incident, Davido said, “Funny enough, it wasn’t even us. It was our people [team]. It was crazy because it didn’t even involve us.”
