Cristiano Ronaldo Gives Pitch Invader Thumbs Up After Scoring Brace for Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second brace in two Euro 2024 qualification matches. The Al-Nassr star took advantage of his opportunities against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. He also produced a heartwarming moment before he was given a rest by his coach.
During the international break, Cristiano Ronaldo kept scoring goals, reaching more milestones in a career that has been going on for 20 years. The 38-year-old bagged a brace against Liechtenstein on March 23 before notching two goals against minnows Luxembourg in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, taking his tally to four goals so far.
He appears to have rediscovered his mojo after enduring a torrid last six months. During this time, he lost one of his twins, granted a bombshell interview that fuelled his acrimonious exit from Manchester United, and signed the odd yet lucrative deal with Al-Nassr, per GOAL.

In Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo took time to hit the ground running but has not looked back since breaking his goal-scoring duck against Al-Fateh in February, CNN reports.
Aside from his near-perfect international break, Ronaldo also gave a pitch invader a moment to savor. During Portugal’s 6-0 romping of Luxembourg, a fan clad in an Al-Nassr jersey stormed onto the pitch in a bid to get closer to the former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward. While the pitch invader was not afforded the luxury of getting closer to Ronaldo due to the intervention of stewards, the Selecao captain gave him a thumbs up as compensation. What’s next for Ronaldo? After the international break, Ronaldo will take to the pitch on April 4 when Al Nassr takes on Al Adalh in the Saudi Pro League.
A young fan watches Ronaldo play Ronaldo has always resonated with his fanbase, so it came as no surprise when a young football fan made the hard yet worthwhile journey to watch his idol. Sports Brief reported on a young fan traveling many hours to watch the superstar in action in Saudi Arabia as Al-Nassr took on Abha in the Saudi King Cup. While Ronaldo did not score and could not produce the trademark ‘Siuuu’, the opportunity was still a dream come true for the self-proclaimed CR7 fanatic.
