The 43-year-old singer was reportedly sent to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday (10.11.22) after suffering a suspected seizure; nevertheless, Brandy has resorted to social media to reassure her fans and express gratitude for their support.
On Instagram, the ‘Boy Is Mine’ hitmaker wrote: “To my family, friends, and the stars, thank you for sending me love and light. Due to dehydration and malnutrition, I am according to my doctor’s directions and receiving the necessary rest. We appreciate your prayers and support. Thankful to all of you, see you soon [heart and star emojis]”
Brandy did not elaborate on her health scare or answer rumors that she had experienced a seizure.
In June 2017, however, the ‘Moesha’ diva was transported to a hospital after being discovered unconscious on a Los Angeles–New York City–bound Delta flight.
At the time, a representative for the actress, who is the sister of singer Ray J, stated, “She has been traveling extensively as part of an ongoing tour and several personal appearances. In recent days, she has taken over 10 international and domestic long-haul flights.
“She was in the studio all night last night until it was time for her to leave for the airport to catch a 5:45 a.m. flight.”
The chart-topping star was said to have been “exhausted” as a result of her hectic work schedule at the time.
Her rep added: “The stress of all of the traveling and working so incessantly has exhausted her. She will be relaxing for the next few days.”
